About the Artist Kate Brown-Wing has been an illustrator since 1986, is a seasoned professional. Her start in Natural History Illustration began at the Harvard Museum of Natural History- specifically the Museum of Comparative Zoology, where she worked as a curatorial assistant and then as a freelance scientific illustrator. Her work at the Museum served as a substantive foundation in biological science and provided the opportunity to work with world-renowned scientists.

Kate Brown-Wing has worked as a co-leader for the HMNH Travel Program, traveling to the Galapagos. Tanzania, and Costa Rica. Brown-Wing has an engaging youth program for children interested in Creative Arts and Nature. Occasionally, she offers family programs for child/ parent teams.
